My Nissan remote is in need of repair. Do I need to replace the whole remote? My key is very worn and doesn’t always work smoothly?
You are not alone! It is very common for any Nissan remote to become worn with internal switches becoming visible over time. This includes the micro-switches falling out through daily use along with the outer buttons. The good news is that you can visit Bristol Car Key Company so we can evaluate and repair remotes for you, if the circuitry in the remote is still working. We can replace the casing, micro-switches, cut a new key and transfer the circuitry to the new case saving you pounds compared to a main dealership who can only offer to supply a new and, in many cases, unnecessary, new expensive key. If the circuitry is also faulty and it is a full replacement remote key that you require then we can help. (See our Remote Recovery centre page for more info)
Any quote given via internet or phone is a guessimate. Prices will be confirmed when key remote, transponder and vehicle have been positively identified at our premises.
Whilst we will endeavour to complete the production of the new key whilst you wait it will be subject to availability, technical issues and other customers.
